We  have many years experience of living in Brittany which we know fully and love.  Having bought and sold properties ourselves, we were increasingly asked for advice about not only property purchase but also about relocation in general.  This encouraged us to develop the Property Search Service.

Finding the perfect property is time consuming and the property that matches the  buyer's requirements can be sitting there but not even advertised.  We like to work with would be purchasers to establish their exact requirements and then we assist in fulfilling their dream from introduction to the selling agent  to offering practical guidance on the many aspects of purchase.  We act as an "on the spot" assistant in Brittany.  This saves  hours and the house hunter does not need to feel alone and confused by what is a system totally alien to that in the U.K.

We offer special  rates to people using Titchmouse Cottages off season.  This is a really good time to look at property as sometimes the sunny, summer days are deceiving and it is quite a sensible idea to look at your dream property at other times of the year and make a totally realistic evaluation.  The cottages act as the perfect base for house hunters and we are on hand to advise, explain the process, hand hold, and hopefully congratulate you on your success in finding your French home.

Once you have bought your property you will need to know how to go about living in a different country and we are on hand to help with advice on coping with aspects from buying fuel or dealing with the utility companies to complicated renovation work.   Having successfully renovated properties - Titchmouse Farm was just a shell when we purchased it - we can steer you in the right direction as regards artisans, purchase of materials, planning permission etc.
