"The Pavilion"

The Titchmouse is cute isn't she? Don't worry - you will not find her or her friends living inside any of our properties!  She prefers being outside in the countryside. 

The "Pavilion" is a bright spacious chalet style house located on the edge of the village of Pleven, which is just an eight-minute drive from the pretty floral town of Plancoët and is an ideal base for those wishing to explore this beautiful part of Brittany.  The many sandy beaches and coves at St Jacut de la Mer are just twenty minutes away.

"The Pavilion" has been beautifully decorated and furnished to provide extremely comfortable and convenient accommodation with a newly fitted kitchen/breakfast room fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, washing machine, fridge and microwave. Floors throughout the house are laid with ceramic tiles with attractive rugs over. There are three double bedrooms with an upstairs toilet and basin.

The reception room has a large dining area and television/video d.v.d player is provided, showing English programmes. There is a ground floor bathroom with shower and separate WC.

Outside the garden extends to three sides of the property with garden table and chairs for outside eating and there is a grassed area where children can play safely. There is ample parking for several cars.

All electricity is included in the price and bed linen and towels are provided excluding beach towels. cot and highchairs are available upon request.  A "Welcome Pack" is provided for guests arrival.

The property is conveniently located, being approximately a forty minute drive from the port of St Malo. Dinard Airport, with Ryanair flights from Stansted and Luton is only a half hour's drive away. Flybe also fly to Rennes airport from Southampton.

The Local Area

Although the village is very small, there is a self-service grocery shop just moments walk from the property which can supply your basic needs, not forgetting fresh bread for your breakfast! Also located in the village is a little bistro/bar, serving excellent value lunches.

From the house, a five minute walk will bring you to a large picturesque lake which is extremely popular with anglers and walkers and just a short drive away, is the forest of Hunaudaye with its lovely woodland trails.

There are more sandy beaches within easy driving distance at St.Cast le Guildo, Sable d`Or and Val André. Nearby, inland, is Jugon les Lac, a large lake with watersports, lakeside paths and a very smart outdoor swimming pool. Golf, sailing, fishing and horse riding facilities can all be found locally.
