Getting to Us

The Titch"mouse" is cute isn't she? Don't worry - you will not find her or her friends living inside any of our properties!  She prefers being outside in the countryside.  Titchmouse is just our logo.

Titchmouse Farmhouse is situated in Créhen, which is an area adjacent to the market town of Plancoët  The area is easily accessible to the Ferry Port of St. Malo and Dinard International Airport.  Brittany Ferries Car Ferries sail  directly to Saint Malo from Portsmouth and there are also crossings to Caen and from  Cherbourg to Poole.  P & O sail into Cherbourg and Le Havre.  LD Lines sail into Le Havre and Condor Ferries sail in there from Portsmouth and Weymouth and the Channel Islands. HD Ferries are running from the Channel Islands from March 2007 and they have organised links to England via their sister line LD Ferries who sail from Portsmouth to Le Havre.

Ryan air have flights from Luton and Nottingham.  The airport at Rennes is a 40 minute drive away and direct flights come in to Rennes from Southampton.

PORTSMOUTH – ST. MALO  -  Crossing time approx. 9 hours.

The most convenient crossing, being only thirty minute drive to the cottages from the port.

PORTSMOUTH – CAEN  - Crossing  time approx. 6 hours. 

The newest ferry port on the channel at Ouistreham.  A short drive away is the autoroute west to Brittany.   Approximately two and half hours drive from port to cottages 

POOLE – CHERBOURG  -  Crossing time 4hrs 15mins.                               

One of the shortest crossings across the western Channel.   Approximately 2½  – 3  hours drive to cottages.

The Fast Ferry  - crossing time 2hrs 15mins.
